We are excited to share with you our latest ministry update. Over the past several weeks, our team has been hard at work getting resources together and preparing for a big project. R&R Ministries has the opportunity to provide 60 families with a living wage and a meaningful career path in North Carolina. One of our partners is hiring cleaners for a commercial cleaning contract in hospitality. The training will begin in December, so we only have a few weeks left to recruit and engage with those looking to turn their lives around for the better.
In the next 2 weeks, various members of our team will be heading out to North Carolina participate in job fairs and developing relationships with local partners to reach out to the community. We believe in an inside-out approach. If there is a job in North Carolina, we strive to prioritize local outreach, providing for the people where they are, to the best of our ability. Only once we've exhausted our efforts in a grassroots approach, do we look elsewhere. We don't by any means turn people away, but we do want to encourage the local community by sending a message that R&R Ministries has a national vision, and we care for people wherever they may be.
As we mentioned on our About Us page, our purpose is to reconcile people to God and others. Providing someone that has limited access to resources with dignifying work is a step toward achieving that goal as we seek to meet their physical needs while engaging their spiritual ones.
